I learn what is Volcano eruption is and what is Earthquake is.<br />

A volcanic eruption occurs when hot materials from earth's interior are thrown out of a volcano. Some eruptions are terrible explosions that throw out huge amounts of rock and volcanic ash and kill many people. Some are quite outflows of hot lava.<br />

An earthquake is the shaking of the surface of the Earth, resulting from the sudden release of energy in the Earth's lithosphere that creates seismic waves. Earthquakes can range in size from those that are so weak that they cannot be felt to those violent enough to toss people around and destroy whole cities.<br />

This is all I learn last term and some of this term. And I did some of activities like I use rulers and measurement. And on Thu, 14 Mar I learn Formation of a tsunami. Tsunami waves are formed as the displaces water, which acts the influence of gravity, attempts to find a stable position again. Undersea landslides, which can caused by large earthquakes, can also cause tsunami waves to form as water attempts to find a stable position.<br />

A tsunami is a series of waves generated in an ocean or other body of water by a disturbance such as an earthquake, landslide, volcanic eruption, or meteorite impact. Undersea earthquake, which typically occur at between Earth's tectonic plates, cause the water above to be moved up or down.<br />

Broadly speaking, the Earth has four layers: the solid crust the outside, the mantle and the core - split between the outer core and the inner core.<br />

<b>What are the 7 layers of earth?</b><br />
The inner core is solid, the outer core is liquid, and the mantle is solid/plastic. This is due to the relative melting points of the different layers ( nickel-iron core, silicate crust and mantle ) and the increase in temperature and pressure as depth increases. <br />

Today in science me my group: Leilani, Angela, Aretafaye worked in a experiment called " Volcanic Eruption" where we would used a test tube that put vinegar into the test tube and some red food colouring and baking soda, Baking soda + Vinegar = Eruption.<br />
